Narayanpet (Telangana), Jan. 6 -- A shocking incident was reported from Narayanpet district, where a man allegedly killed his two minor children and later attempted to take his own life following a prolonged marital dispute.
Police said the accused, Shivarammulu, a resident of Thilair village in Marikal mandal, had been having frequent quarrels with his wife. After a recent argument, she reportedly left for her parents' house and did not return, which allegedly enraged him.
In a fit of anger, Shivarammulu hanged his daughter Ritika (9) and son Chaitanya (6) to death. He later dumped their bodies in Yapal lake.
Following the murders, he attempted suicide by touching live electric wires but failed. He then consumed pesticide and collapsed....
