Hyderabad, Dec. 29 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President and Leader of the Opposition K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) on Monday made a brief appearance in the Telangana Assembly, attending the House for only a few minutes after registering his attendance. KCR, the former Chief Minister entered the Assembly soon after it convened at around 10:30 a.m. and left shortly after members paid tributes to deceased former legislators - Suryapet MLA Damodar Reddy and former Chevella MLA Konda Laxma Reddy.
KCR's Assembly attendance has remained sparse since the Congress government assumed office in December 2023.
KCR's continued absence during the assembly sessions was raised by chief minister A Revanth Reddy during several meetings.
