Hyderabad, Oct. 29 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu today directed the Finance Department to immediately release Rs 303 crore to clear all pending Overseas Scholarship dues for students belonging to SC, ST, BC, Other Communities (OC), and Minority categories. The Deputy CM instructed that all pending amounts dating from 2022 till date must be cleared at once.
The directive has brought immense relief to thousands of students and their families, who had faced significant financial distress for a prolonged period.
