Telangana: CM launches 24x7 'Spandana' Teams for Women's Safety
Hyderabad, Apr 27 ( UNI): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday launched the 'Spandana' response teams at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Hyderabad to strengthen safety and support mechanisms for women and children.The initiative, aimed at providing round-the-clock assistance, will offer immediate response and psychological support to women in distress.Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that ensuring the safety of women and children is a key indicator of a developed society and essential for the state's progress.He emphasised that the government is committed not only to addressing issues after they arise but also to preventing them proactively.Highlighting existing initiatives, he said Telang...
