Hyderabad, March 8 -- Telangana Irrigation & Civil Supplies Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy announced that advanced robotic technology has been deployed to expedite the ongoing rescue operations at the SLBC tunnel near Domalapenta in Nagarkurnool district, where eight workers remain trapped since February 22.
Describing the incident as a national disaster, he emphasised that the State Government is leveraging cutting-edge global technology to navigate the challenges in the final stretch of the 14-kilometer-long tunnel.
Accompanied by Achampet MLA Dr. Chikkudu Vamsi Krishna on Saturday, the Minister conducted a site inspection and held a review meeting with officials from multiple national agencies.
