New Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov. 7 -- Eleven residents of Telangana, who were trapped in cybercrime camps in Myawaddy, Myanmar, have been safely brought back to India with the help of the Central Government.
The rescued citizens arrived in Delhi on Thursday night aboard a special Indian Air Force (IAF) flight and were officially handed over to state representatives in Greater Noida on Friday by officials of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The rescued group includes people from Hyderabad, Karimnagar, and Warangal districts. After their arrival, MEA officials conducted verification and brief questioning before transferring them to Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.
