Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- The National Road Safety Month celebrations for 2026 were formally inaugurated at Khairatabad on Thursday, marking the beginning of a month-long awareness drive from January 1 to January 31.

As part of the inauguration, Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar personally distributed helmets to officials and released the National Road Safety Month poster, vehicle stickers and road safety awareness books meant for students.
