Hyderabad, May 10 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy reaffirmed the Congress government's commitment to fast-tracking the Sita Rama Lift Irrigation Project (SRLIP) and Sitamma Sagar Multi-Purpose Project (SSMPP), terming them as vital for southern Telangana's irrigation and development.
Chairing a high-level review meeting at Jala Soudha on Saturday, attended by Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and senior officials, the minister emphasised urgency in completing the long-pending projects.
