Hyderabad, June 25 -- Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today announced major plans for the development of the tourism in the state, emphasising that the sector offers excellent opportunities for employment generation and economic growth.
Rao, who holds the Tourism, Culture, and Excise portfolios, stated that the government is moving forward with special plans to transform Telangana into a key tourism destination by leveraging its natural, spiritual, and cultural assets.
As part of this vision, the Minister visited several prominent sites including Somasila, Amaragiri, Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Project, Narlapur Reservoir, Madhavaswamy Temple in Kollapur, and the historic Jetaprolu Madanagopala Swamy Temple.
