Hyderabad, July 3 -- Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Thursday announced an ambitious road development plan aimed at making the state a national role model in infrastructure and road safety.

Speaking to the media after a state-wide review meeting with R&B officials at the department's office in Hyderabad, the Minister said the government is prioritising high-traffic roads and black spots to reduce accidents and improve connectivity.

The review meeting lasted over three hours and covered key issues across the state's road network.

"Our goal is to transform Telangana into a benchmark for road infrastructure in the country. Roads are not just for contractors-they are for the people," Komatireddy said.
