Hyderabad, April 9 -- The Telangana transport department on Thursday said it has operationalised generation of non-transport temporary vehicle registrations through the VAHAN portal with effect from March 23, in a major step towards digital governance and citizen convenience.
As part of the initiative, nearly 1,000 vehicle dealers have been trained through physical and online sessions to ensure smooth processing of temporary registrations, an official release said.
It said 346 financial integrations have been completed and 671 dealers have been authorised and onboarded to facilitate decentralised service delivery across the state.
