Hyderabad, Nov. 6 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao today held a review meeting with the state Agriculture department officials on the supply of fertilisers for the upcoming Yasangi (Rabi) season.
During the meeting, Agriculture Director Gopi informed that the Centre has allocated 10.40 lakh metric tons of urea, 1.45 lakh metric tons of DAP, 7 lakh metric tons of complex fertilisers, 0.65 lakh metric tons of MOP, and 0.60 lakh metric tons of SSP to Telangana for the season.
Out of these, the state has sought the supply of 6 lakh metric tons of urea - 2 lakh metric tons each for October, November, and December - to ensure timely availability for farmers.
