Hyderabad, Dec. 9 -- It was a dazzling spectacle in the sky on Tuesday evening as a 3,000-drone formation lit up Bharat Future City during the closing ceremony of the Telangana Rising Global Summit, earning the state a new Guinness World Record.
The drone show, themed on the Telangana Rising-2047 vision, depicted the state's aspirations for education, innovation, sustainability and inclusive growth. With 3,000 synchronised drones, Telangana surpassed the previous world record of 2,131 drones set in Abu Dhabi.
Guinness World Records officials, who witnessed the event, presented the certificate to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on stage amid loud applause.
