Hyderabad, May 3 -- The Government of Telangana has reaffirmed its commitment to green mobility by setting a target to establish 6,000 public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the state by 2030.
This commitment was reiterated during a high-level review meeting chaired by Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary to the Government, Energy Department, at Vidyuth Soudha on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from DISCOMs, TGREDCO, and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and focused on reviewing the progress of EV infrastructure and resolving operational challenges.
