New Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov. 17 -- Acting on the directions of the Telangana State Government, Resident Commissioner of Telangana Bhavan, Dr Shashank Goel, convened an emergency review meeting in New Delhi on Monday following the horrific bus accident in Saudi Arabia involving Indian pilgrims travelling from Mecca to Medina.
Dr Goel reviewed the preliminary reports received through multiple official channels and instructed senior officials to immediately prepare a detailed action plan. He stressed the need to gather accurate information about the deceased and injured, and directed continuous coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh and Saudi authorities.
