Hyderabad, Sept. 11 -- Telangana Medical and Health Minister, Damodar Rajanarsimha has directed senior health officials to take concrete steps to promote organ transplant surgeries in government hospitals.
At a review meeting held at the Aarogyasri Trust office in Jubilee Hills today, the Minister reviewed the functioning of Jeevan Daan and discussed measures to strengthen organ transplant facilities.
He instructed that surgeries be performed not only at NIMS, Gandhi and Osmania hospitals, but also at RIMS Adilabad and MGM Warangal.
Rajanarsimha asked officials to prepare proposals for setting up organ retrieval centers in all joint district headquarters. He further directed Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu to form dedicated teams ...
