Hyderabad, Feb. 21 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Saturday said the State has placed women's financial inclusion at the core of its development strategy, resulting in rapid economic growth and a sharp reduction in poverty.

Speaking at the 25th Meeting of the National Coordination Committee of the Rural Development Department held at a private hotel here, the Minister said Telangana has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies in the country, recording an average annual growth rate of 12.9 per cent since its formation.
