Hyderabad, March 20 -- : Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday presented a Rs 3.24 lakh crore budget for the 2026-27 financial year in the State Assembly, with a focus on welfare and development.
The total outlay stood at Rs 3,24,234 crore, against Rs 3,04,305 crore in the previous year's budget.
Revenue expenditure was estimated at Rs 2,34,406 crore, while capital expenditure was pegged at Rs 47,267 crore.
In his speech, Bhatti said that while giving priority to development and welfare, the government was also emphasizing fiscal discipline without indulging in extravagance.
