Hyderabad, Aug. 13 -- As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Inspector General of Police (P&L) M Ramesh, administered an anti-drug pledge to officers and staff at the DGP Office here on Wednesday.

The pledge reaffirmed the police force's commitment to protecting society, particularly the youth, from the harmful effects of drug abuse.

Addressing the gathering, Ramesh described drug abuse as a grave threat to public health, safety, and the future of younger generations.

He urged officers to intensify public awareness campaigns, strengthen enforcement, and work closely with communities to curb drug trafficking and consumption.
