Hyderabad, Sept. 15 -- The Telangana Police Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Police Foundation (IPF) today to implement a PoliceReforms Project in the state.

Approved by the Government of Telangana (Home) through G.O.Rt.No.765, the project willinitially cover 15 police stations each in Cyberabad Commissionerate and Sangareddy district.

The IPF, an independent think tank established in 2014 in New Delhi, works on improvingpolicing in India through research, policy advocacy, and capacity building.

The Telangana initiative aims to make policing more people-centric, transparent, and empathetic.
