Hyderabad, July 2 -- The death toll from the tragic fire accident at a pharmaceutical unit at Pashamylaram Industrial area in the Sangareddy district of Telangana rose to 40 today.
Sigachi Industries, in its letter to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, today said, "It is with anguish that we share details of the accident that occurred at the Sigachi Industries facility in Pashamylaram, resulting in the loss of 40 valued team members and left over 33 injured.
The Plant operations will remain temporarily suspended for around 90 days, it said.
