Hyderabad, March 4 -- Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday met Telangana Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy and requested him to take steps to stabilise the ayacut under the D10 canal of the Ranganayaka Sagar reservoir.
During the meeting, the MP submitted a representation seeking water supply from the D10 canal of the Ranganayaka Sagar reservoir in Siddipet district to the D3 canal of the Tapaspalli reservoir in Komuravelli mandal of Jangaon constituency.
He said the proposal would help stabilise nearly 7,000 acres of agricultural land in villages including Kamalayapalli, Arjun Patta, Akunur, Jalapalli, Lingapur and Dulmitta.
