Hyderabad, July 24 -- In the wake of the heavy rains lashing Telangana, State Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha has directed health officials to remain on high alert and take preventive measures to contain the spread of seasonal diseases.

During a teleconference with senior officials on Thursday, the Minister instructed them to immediately tour districts, visit government hospitals, and intensify efforts such as awareness drives, anti-larval operations, fogging, and indoor spraying in vulnerable areas.
