Hyderabad, Dec. 21 -- Telangana Ministers Seethakka, Konda Surekha and Adluri Lakshman Kumar on Sunday arrived at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bollaram to extend a formal invitation to President Droupadi Murmu for the Medaram Maha Jatara, a sacred tribal festival.
The ministers held a special meeting with the President and presented the official invitation card, requesting her presence at the tribal festival. As part of the tradition, they offered a saree of Goddess Sammakka, a sacred thread (kankanam), and a shawl to the President.
