New Delhi/Hyderabad, June 25 -- Telangana IT, Industries and Commerce Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu today met Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Padma Yesso Naik and later Union Heavy Industries Minister Kumaraswamy in New Delhi, urging the central government to intervene in resolving long-pending land issues related to Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) in Telangana.

During the meeting, Minister Sridhar Babu explained that in the 1960s, the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh government had allotted vast tracts of land around Hyderabad and other parts of the state to various CPSUs at subsidised rates with the aim of promoting industrial growth and generating employment.
