Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh), Nov. 18 -- Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Tuesday offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy here along with his family members.
He was received at the temple entrance by officials of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). After darshan, temple priests blessed him with Vedashirvadam, and TTD authorities offered thirtha prasadam at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple.
The minister said he prayed for the well-being of the people of Telangana, seeking abundant rains, good harvests and overall prosperity for the state.
