Telangana Legislative Assembly adopts resolution opposing delimitation
Hyderabad, March 27 -- The Telangana Legislative Assembly on Thursday passed a resolution opposing the proposed delimitation exercise, citing concerns over its transparency and the potential disadvantages for states that have successfully implemented population control measures.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy introduced the resolution, emphasising that the delimitation process should not proceed without transparent consultations with all stakeholders, including State Governments, political parties, and other concerned groups.
