Hyderabad, Dec. 4 -- Telangana on Thursday became the first state in the country to unveil a long-term quantum strategy, outlining an ambitious plan to develop Hyderabad into India's premier "Quantum City".
The NITI Aayog Roadmap for Quantum and the Telangana Quantum Strategy (TQS) were formally released at IIIT-Hyderabad by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka in the presence of IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.
Speaking at the event, Sridhar Babu said quantum technology would be as transformative in the 21st century as electricity and the internet were in earlier eras.
