Hyderabad, Oct. 22 -- The scrutiny of nominations for the November 11 Jubilee Hills assembly by-election in Telangana is going to take longer due to the large number of nominations received, an official release stated today.
A total of 211 candidates have filed 321 nominations for the bye-election. The Election Commission has allowed withdrawal of nominations up to October 24.
The General Observer for the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency Bye-Election, Ranjit Kumar Singh, during the day attended the scrutiny at the office of the Returning Officer.
