Hyderabad, Dec. 24 -- Leading industrial, trade and commerce bodies in Telangana on Wednesday urged the State Government to urgently review key policy and regulatory measures that are adversely impacting industry, investments and employment.
Addressing a joint press conference at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), industry representatives expressed serious concern over the sudden unblocking of Lead kVArh billing, which they said has resulted in a severe power tariff shock for industrial and commercial consumers, with electricity bills rising three to five times in many cases.
