Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, distributed digital assistive devices to visually challenged students and merit scholarships to economically weaker sections at Lok Bhavan here on Thursday.
The compact devices alert users to obstacles via vibrations, boosting safety and mobility for visually challenged students.
The Governor noted this New Year started with a noble beginning post-renaming, praising the Indian Red Cross Society Telangana State Branch, Mana America Telugu Association and Sankalp Foundation for their support.
