Hyderabad/New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday urged union minister Dharmendra Pradhan to sanction an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for Hyderabad and approve the establishment of additional Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in the southern state.
He also highlighted Hyderabad's rapid growth in sectors such as information technology, life sciences, aerospace, defence, logistics and advanced manufacturing, stressing the need for an IIM in the city.
The CM pointed out that the union government has established 21 IIMs in 19 states and one union territory and said Telangana should also be allotted one.
