Hyderabad, Dec. 19 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Friday said the Telangana government would examine the feasibility of setting up a thermal power plant at the pit-head of the Naini coal block in Odisha operated by Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
The Deputy Chief Minister held a special meeting with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at a hotel here during which the proposal was discussed. Bhatti Vikramarka said that, as per the directions of the Telangana government, a team of officials from the state Energy Department would visit the Naini coal block area to conduct a detailed study.
