Mulugu, Sept. 23 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today announced that the state government is ready to sanction crores of rupees for the development of the Sammakka-Saralamma temple at Medaram.

Addressing a public meeting after reviewing the temple development plan, the Chief Minister said the initiative is not merely a responsibility but an emotional commitment.

Revanth Reddy recalled that with the blessings of Sammakka and Saralamma, he had launched his padayatra from Medaram on February 6, 2023, a movement that later paved the way for the formation of the "people's government" in Telangana.
