Hyderabad, Sept. 18 -- The Telangana government today decided to set up a special Education Corporation and spend the funds to improve infrastructure and educational standards.

Speaking at a meeting on the formulation of Telangana Education Policy report here, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy reiterated that the government is ready to spend money on education liberally.

We have already requested the union government to consider the expenditure incurred on education as an investment, he said.

The CM said that he also requested union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to exempt the loans borrowed for education development from the FRBM limit. There is also a need for clarity on syllabus design, resource mobilization and policy implementatio...
