Hyderabad, Feb. 10 -- Telangana government is ready to roll out a 'New IT policy' to spread IT industry across the state, Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu said on Saturday.

Presenting the vote-on-account budget for 2024-25 in the Assembly, he said the government allocated Rs 774 crore in this budget for Information Technology (IT).

Quoting former Prime Minister late Rajiv Rajiv Gandhi's statement that ' India missed the industrial revolution, but it cannot afford to miss computer revolutions", the Minister said it is still inspiring for all of us and the government's aim to make Telangana a front runner in IT in the country.
