Hyderabad, June 27 -- In a move aimed at enhancing educational standards and ensuring fairness, the Telangana state government is preparing to take a rational, structured decision on the fee structure of engineering colleges across the state.
A high-level committee will soon be appointed to evaluate colleges based on infrastructure, faculty quality, laboratories, and compliance with AICTE norms.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy emphasised the need for engineering institutions in Telangana to align with global standards, especially in emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence. He said the goal is to create a system where colleges grow in coordination with government expectations and evolving industry demands.
