Hyderabad, Feb. 22 -- The Telangana government on Saturday approved for a large-scale recruitment drive in the Women and Child Welfare Department, with plans to fill 6,399 Anganwadi teacher and 7,837 helper vacancies across the state.

Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka signed the file approving the recruitment process, marking for the first time such a large-scale hiring for Anganwadi positions is being conducted in Telangana. The recruitment aims to enhance the efficiency of Anganwadi centers and strengthen child welfare initiatives.
