Hyderabad, Dec. 20 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturdy evening announced that the state government will introduce a new Act in the assembly, to punish those who insult or abuse other religions.
CM Reddy added that his government will also amend existing laws to ensure stringent action against offenders. Speaking at Christmas celebrations held at LB Stadium here, the Chief Minister stressed the need for mutual respect among all faiths and said the government has already taken serious action against incidents of religious hatred and assaults to maintain peace in the state.
