Hyderabad, Feb. 11 -- The Telangana government has formally divided the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) into three separate civic bodies-GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
Chief Secretary to the government K Ramakrishna Rao issued orders appointing new commissioners for the three corporations following the reorganisation.
R.V. Karnan will continue as the Commissioner of GHMC, while Srujana has been appointed as the Commissioner of the newly formed Cyberabad Municipal Corporation. Vinay Bhaskar Reddy has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
