Hyderabad, Feb. 23 -- In a major step towards skill development and employment generation for orphaned youth, the Telangana Women Development and Child Welfare Department on Monday signed several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with GMR Aero Academy, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Azim Premji University in the presence of Panchayati Raj, Rural Development and Women & Child Welfare Minister Dr. Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka.
Under the MoUs, aviation-sector training will be provided to orphaned youth living in government care through GMR Aero Academy from March 2026, while orphaned girls pursuing polytechnic education will receive industry-oriented, digital and soft-skills training in collaboration with FICCI-FLO.
