Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Saturday urged fertiliser companies to expedite the supply of urea to the state, cautioning that any further delay could affect farmers' crops.
In a review meeting with RFCL CEO Alok Singhal and NFCL Telangana Sales Manager Rajesh at the Secretariat, the Minister said that the state has yet to receive 62,473 metric tons of its allotted quota from RFCL.
"Farmers are facing difficulties due to the delay. The entire pending quota should be supplied without further lapse," he stressed.
