Hyderabad, May 24 -- The Telangana state government has sanctioned Rs.100 crore for the establishment of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar International Research Centre of the University, said University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani here on Saturday.
On this occasion, Chakrapani convened a meeting with the Directors, Deans, Heads of Departments and representatives of various Service Associations of the university.
The government allocated the funds from the SC sub plan, he said and revealed the need of a Research Centre.
He thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and other Ministers and officials of the state government for approving their proposals and sanctioning funds.
