Hyderabad, Feb. 5 -- Telangana Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Women, and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has stated that the state government is giving special attention to tribal welfare.

Speaking to the media after a review meeting with Scheduled Tribe (ST) MLAs at Damodar Sanjeeviah Welfare Bhavan in Masab Tank on Wednesday, Seethakka emphasised the government's commitment to strengthening tribal welfare initiatives.

"The previous government neglected the development and welfare of tribals for the past ten years. It failed to address the issues faced by the poor and weakened Integrated Tribal Development Agencies (ITDAs). Schemes like Indira Jalaprabha suffered due to a lack of water allocation," she said.
