Hyderabad, Oct. 15 -- The Telangana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is taking steps to strengthen the welfare of journalists, said State Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.

He emphasised that rules and regulations are being formulated to ensure that government welfare programs reach all eligible journalists.

On Wednesday, at the Dr B R Ambedkar Secretariat, the Minister held discussions with Media Academy Chairman K Srinivasa Reddy, Information and Public Relations Commissioner CH Priyanka, and CPRO Malsur on the upcoming journalist accreditation policy.
