Hyderabad, May 21 -- As per the directions of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Telangana Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao held a high-level review meeting on Wednesday to streamline the process of depositing cosmetic charges directly into the bank accounts of students studying in Social Welfare, Minority Welfare, Tribal Welfare, and Residential Schools across the state.
The Chief Secretary instructed officials to prepare an action plan to ensure Aadhaar linking and bank account activation with debit cards for students by the time schools reopen in June. He emphasised that the cosmetic charges should be deposited by the end of June into the accounts of nearly 6 lakh students.
