Hyderabad, July 15 -- The Telangana government has strongly opposed the inclusion of the Banakacharla project in the agenda for the inter-state water dispute meeting scheduled by the Union Jal Shakti Ministry in Delhi on July 16.

Acting on the instructions of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Telangana chief secretary has written to the Union Jal Shakti secretary, urging the Centre to immediately revise the meeting agenda and exclude Banakacharla from the discussions.
