Hyderabad, June 27 -- Medak MP and senior BJP leader Raghunandan Rao launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of diverting public attention from its unfulfilled promises by renaming schemes and engaging in publicity stunts.

Speaking at a media conference at the BJP state office today, he criticised the state government for failing to address pressing civic issues while rebranding the Rs 5 meal Annapurna Canteens as "Indiramma Canteens" - a move he termed as a "symbol of political degradation and disregard for historical context".
