Hyderabad, Jan. 12 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday launched three major welfare schemes aimed at supporting persons with disabilities, children and senior citizens at a programme held at Praja Bhavan.

The schemes were inaugurated in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Damodar Rajanarasimha, Seethakka, Adluru Lakshman and other dignitaries.

The initiatives include distribution of assistive devices worth Rs 50 crore to persons with disabilities, the 'Bala Bharosa' programme for children, and 'Pranam' daycare centres for senior citizens.
