Hyderabad, March 9 -- The Telangana government has intensified relief and rescue operations following the tragic collapse of SLBC Tunnel 1.

Efforts are being led by State Disaster Management Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, with multiple agencies working tirelessly to locate the missing workers and engineers, an official statement said on Sunday.

Sunday marks the 16th day since the incident, and rescue teams, including state and central disaster management organisations, the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), and specialised dog squads, are making continuous efforts to expedite the search.
